it’s finally here!! the day I’m changing from Windows to Mac. It’s an MBA M2 base model. Got it refurbished with only 6 CC for $900. Since this is my first, any tips and tricks or useful shortcuts or recommendation apps pleaseee?

Rectangle allows you to window snap easily, the microsoft outlook app is one of the best email clients for mac, Microsoft edge has Vertical tabs and bing ai chat which can summarize webpages, and stage manager makes managing app windows easy

I’m surprised you didn’t ask if it was worth the price/ to switch from windows like every other post on the board.

bro install swish it’s like 8 or 10 bucks and makes the experience so good with the trackpad

whats your most favorite features of it?

[–] sebasyw@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

it makes using the trackpad on the macbook really comfortable, sometimes I even prefer using the trackpad rather than the mouse

Hey, need one info. Did your mac feels slow like frame dropping occasionally while opening and minimizing window and on scrolling in add new widget section?

In a similar situation! I got the 512gb 10-core model refurbished paid 815. Windows is still good for lots of things but Mac takes the cake for day to day use.

Also just purchased the same model today and hope to get it tomorrow. However I just found out it doesn’t support Bootcamp which I was hoping to use for dual booting Windows for a software I use for a game I play. Gutted!! Wondering is parallels would work but I’ve read that it has limitations on silicone chips such as directx so the game not play anyway.
