Hp got rid of jumper after g5 onward
Probably still has a couple solder pads that can be jumped, even if the jumper pins weren't soldered on?
No, you need to either replace the motherboard or aquire a blob file from HP to unlock the motherboard to get rid of the password.
Its a security thing according to HP.
It would be hard/really hard. Have you tried resetting the bios by removing power and CMOS, holding down the power button on the system while it's unplugged and seeing if it clears BIOS?

I've had success using it for locked hp and lenovo laptops, maybe it will work for desktops too?
