I’m fairly new to iPhone and using safari, liking it so far but is it true that it automatically closes your tabs once in a while? I have an iPad for 10 months or so and this keep happening with me. Never happened before using chrome in my android phone

Edge because it's connected to my Win 11 Edge

[–] MiHnEa_OpReAYT@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Safari on mac and iOS and on windows and linux I use Brave or Firefox

[–] ihooper05@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I tend to use Chrome mainly because it syncs with my Windows laptop, a few androids I keep around for audio streaming in my car, and because my business and personal accounts are all Google.

It's definitely a lot slower, but for me I prefer it because of the synchronization. For people who don't need that kind of thing and who uses all Apple products, I'd always recommend Safari.

Safari for personal, chrome for school

[–] Rampartt@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I switched from Chrome to Safari last year, and recently on to Firefox… Safari has been slow as shit and not loading web pages properly on every one of my Apple devices

[–] NoMeasurement6473@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

On my Mac and iPhone I use Orion. On everything else I use Firefox.

[–] Comrade_Bender@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Safari. Anything on iOS is basically safari anyway.

Safari on my iPhone, chrome on my Macs and iPad

[–] himynameishonza@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Since I'm developer, I am using all of them + Opera. But for most of the casual browsing, Chrome on Mac and Safari on phone, because Chrome UX on iPhone is not ideal for me.

[–] Cod3rMax@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I like using opera gx πŸ˜…

[–] TechieBrad@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Brave didn’t make the list.

[–] acebush1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Brave is the best on mobile, hands down. Not the fastest, but no ads, a dark mode, and FANTASTIC ui.

[–] Ok-Stuff-8803@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Brave Browser. It's based on chrome and has built-in AdBlock, works flawlessly. And it's free.

I use Safari on my iPhone and Chrome on my Mac

[–] Duzz05@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Chrome on desktop. Safari on mobile πŸ˜‚
