Is it possible to have a photo only in one album other than the recents album?

I'd like to store photos in one album and not have them appear in the recents one. What I'm currently doing is moving the photos out of recents and into the album I want. However, whenever I delete the photo from the recents album, it also deletes the one stored in the other album I've made.

I'd rather not have the photos I'm taking appear in the recents album.

Recents and library are the same folder with all photos sorted differently.

Albums contain selected photos that point to the master library.

You can’t remove something from the library or recents without it deleting it.
