Ok
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
Btw, you don't need to upgrade it every year as Apple suggests it through marketing.
Very late to the party but congrats!
Enjoy!
I'm soon gonna switch from Android to iOS too! Should I buy the iPhone 15 pro?
Pro Max or Plus if you want excellent battery life
No, stay at android
Depends on what you do on your phone
Kind of underrated but if you’re an android user using usb-c already I think the jump to the 15 series of phones is a no brainer.
I’m using the 15 pro at the moment and I use a lot of usb-c gadgets. Currently figuring out how to seamlessly upgrade my 10.5 iPad Pro and AirPods to USB-C.
What is your case?
You’re doing it wrong. Put a bubble wrap on it asap!
That’s awesome enjoy it
Wish you got the pro to feel the smooth display at 120frames
Welcome aboard!
I got my 15 plus yesterday as well, switched from a 4 year old s10, i literally bought it right before that POS bricked. I just about got all the important stuff out before that so thank goodness I can throw it away. Last iPhone I had was the 6 back in 2015 and this feels completely different coming back to apple, super happy to be back with apple will slowly buy into the ecosystem over time.
There’s nothing like the feeling of your first iPhone
I just got my first one after 14 years of android, got the 15 pro max, love the black on black
It’s nice to switch sides from time to time, I enjoy, however the second year with iPhone already
Lmao, welcome to apple, where you can pay to waste even more money.
im curious, what made u leave samsung and join apple?
I too switched to iOS but I'm definitely going back. The phone itself is basic asf to me (14promax). I guess I'm used to alot of features from Samsung that apple doesn't offer.
R u in the U.S.?
DONT FUCKING SMASH IT INTO A HUNDRED PIECES
IOS has many small surprises waiting for you to discover
Always use protection
nah we only accept 15 pro and 15 pro max post in this subreddit. if u don’t have pro models u r a loser. 60hz and usb 2 speed in 2023 is embarrassing. get off wif ur 60hz display. 120hz is the only way here, 60hz users are old and need to get their eyes checked
Welcome to the club!
Welcome to the club! I hope you enjoy your 15 Plus, it’s a great phone if it’s anything like the normal 15
I just go my first since the iPhone 5. I’m liking it more than I thought I would.
Because you went from a potato to a fully working phone. The technologies inside iPhones are way better than what’s in android’s.
Lol that is laughable
I'm waiting till January to get one, hopefully.
Welcome to the Apple World! I am now on my 4th iPhone , 3rd IPad, and 3rd Apple Watch. I know I am totally locked into the Apple system, but I love it, because EVERYTHING WORKS! 😎
Yeah we, not always. Until the 17.1.1 update the battery life on my 13 regular was pretty good. Now it's lousy. I hope the next iOS update fixes it.
But I do like the Keychain with the Apple ecosystem. This is my 9th iPhone and my 4th Apple Watch. Had the Series 3, 5, SE 1 and am on the Series 8 right now.
Nice. Apple?
That is one of the best options you can get in a iphone rn. Battery is a beast. Ive got a 15 base model and already its battery is a huge thing to admire. 15plus is 🔥. Welcome to the club mate
My condolences.
I got my new iPhone recently, upgrade from iPhone 12 mini to 15 pro max. Love it
Wow. I had a 12 Mini. Battery life was abysmal. Traded in to Samsung for the S21+. Traded another phone in to Apple for the 12 Pro. Two great phones with great cameras at the same time. I love photography.
The 15 Pro Max's battery life must be leaps and bounds over the 12 Mini!
You made a great choice, -i i think...
I havent been on the Samsung side tbh
Love to see another Mous user!
Should have bought the pro version bruda for 120hz display
just made the switch myself about a year ago, congratulations!
Wait until you get an Apple Watch or MacBook/ipad and everything just starts connecting and syncing.
I did the exact same thing with the 15 Pro Max and I’m half convinced.. The performance, photos/videos and battery is insane, I’ve never even got a full day on my Samsung, here I did 1,5 days. But that’s probably where the pluses end.
If I compare iOS and Android, iOS is better optimized while Android has much more options. The keyboard was better for me, the control centre had like twice the abilities, mobile hotspot worked every time with my Windows laptop (now it’s like 50/50), calculator had history (why the hell doesn’t this calculator have history?!?) and much more.
Don’t get me wrong, iOS is great and has its own features, but the little things that Android offers and I’ve grown accustomed to makes the whole experience a bit worse…
I think I’ll stay with iOS, especially after going through the torture of manually sending all photos between the phones. Android will always have a special place in my heart though and I will definitely miss it.
Benvenuto!
Good move and congrats! Switched from Android to my iPhone 15 Pro Max and would never go back…phone’s awesome.
