I've watched some tough Bears games the last 30 years but the last two years have seemed similar to the rest with the exception of the light at the end of the tunnel with draft picks.

I understand the blue chip argument and I think getting some injured players back and adding Montez Sweat is slowly creating the semblance of a team with a future especially given the draft capital.

The more I see the Patriots, Cardinals, Panthers, Colts, Giants, and Broncos play the more I think the Bears have a better product on the field and a significantly brighter future.

I also think the Steelers will start to unravel with their unwatchable offense.

I live in Packer country and these people are already smashing the panic button. I think there is more murkiness about their current direction than what Poles is doing.

As much as this sub wants a winner, I think ending the season with 6 wins, significant cap space, and a boatload of picks will attract a better coach this cycle.

Taking anyone in the top ten with their two picks will inject a lot of talent quickly, especially if they are non QB picks.

One thing to point out as well is that none of those teams will likely have head coach openings. I think Bill will get another year or 2 (unless this trade to Wsh rumor has some legs) and the rest have hired coaches this year or last.

If the Bears drafted CJ Stroud, they might be in the playoffs this season. Draft picks suck if you do not know what you want your team to be or how to scout. He might be once in a lifetime.

Last year and this year has felt way better than rooting for the Shea McClellin Bears.

I think the Bears have a very good situation that just isn't being lead well. Just watching the talent we have it makes you think this team should be competing for that final WC spot. Honestly, we're a couple playmakers away with the right coach to slide into the roster and make it ready to win.

The problem is we traditionally have fumbled on our choices at HC and finding franchise changing players.
