Any benefit adding my Driver License to the Wallet? (alien.top)

I’m very new to Apple and wanted to start making life easier by easing into the Apple ecosystem entirely. Recently purchased an Ultra Watch as well and it’s AMAZING. As I was browsing through the apps however, I noticed that I can add my Drivers License to the Wallet app. If I was to say get pulled over, could law enforcement see my info just by showing or tapping my ID with the Wallet app? Just curious as to its purpose in daily life. Thanks!

Many businesses that check ID for purchases of alcohol or nightclub admission will not accept a photograph or virtual drivers license.

The reasoning is people could have their virtual license on the Apple Wallet, and hand someone else who is underage their physical license to present.

Others have raised the issue of handing their phone over to law enforcement as a potentially bad move.
