You do you. But I feel like that defeats the purpose of having a smart watch

Good for you, reading time with just dials pops my eyeballs out. Am good with Numeric watch faces.
You got the stainless version and then use a rubber band as a strap. π€¨
I have the Hermes edition and use a rubber strap like 80% of the time.

Always wondering, how people can understand what exact time with such watch faces. Minimal is good, however found that modular watch face is way better for this.
Yes I would also prefer some lines or dots to separate hours and 5 min intervals
Yes, we should have that option on many faces. I mostly have to use a complication every time someone ask me the timeβ¦
In fact, you mostly don't need to know the time down to the minute. If necessary, I will use a digital watch face.

Iβm with you - the only times I need HH:MM:SS on my watch face is when Iβm angling for a concert ticket or signing up for some class somewhere that has limited seating. I admit that I prefer digital most of the time, but I donβt diss analog just because I canβt get the most precise time.
I prefer modular also, and is my standard watch face. It gives me digital time so I donβt waste time getting the info I need at a glance.
Having a bunch of complications (including current temperature) is a great feature to have as well.

I could tell from this comment you were British (I am too for what it's worth). I think we are just better practiced with this stuff than the Americans. Can't speak for mainland Europeans cause I don't know.

Fully agree. Such faces are beautiful but if you need to really know the time then they suck. If you just need a ballpark then perfect. I'm a teacher and my lessons are carefully planned down to the minute. I would never be able to use a face such as this. It would be a prime example of something being beautiful but useless. A very expensive bracelet.
I rarely need to know the exact time. When I do I swipe from minimalist to a digital face and then back.
Yeah right. In normal life, normal day, I just need to know it's about 1:40 or about 1:45.

I use Numeral most of the time, it is exactly like that one but with a giant number for the just the hour, it is so easy to read, looks great and saves battery
I wish the number was the opposite. I donβt need the number for hours, I rarely am unsure what hour it is, but my big problem with these sorts of faces is itβs too ambiguous about the minute.
Love the look. Just added it to my watch as well but it takes me at least 3 seconds to read the time lol

you will get used to it in half a day, if you like it
In my experience, unless you get so focused into a task for hours on end (which can definitely happen), you tend to remember the hour of the moment. So you can just look at the minute hand and gauge the time.

I thought, and now wish, this was the opposing βdownβ option for the Always On Display. Raised: all the info. Down: minimal, non obtrusive and more like a normal watch.
Iβm like complete opposite. If Iβm carrying a computer on my wrist it better tell me the weather, sun time left, hydration level and some nuclear coordinates lol

I use infograph to show 8 complications during the day and a simple face for nighttime
