I was rooting for Pereira and he probably would have won either way, but what the fuck was that early stoppage? I wanted to see more carnage

Imo the stoppage was too early. Jiri got up right after.

I still think Pereira wins anyways as his standup posed a lot of problems for jiri. But he should have been given a chance. .

I agree that it was a bit early but after 13 unanswered shots and the way he fell back looked awkward and Alex landed in full mount, a few more strikes would’ve put Jiri out cold. With the quicker stoppage, Jiri will be able to fight again sooner, so I’m okay with it

Eh I mean I'm not sure. Jiri could have at least grabbed and we've never seen if Pereira is actually good at ground and pound.

Guess we'll never know
