Isn't this the port terminal that India's Adani group now has a majority stake in?

Classic "combatting Chinese influence" by pushing it straight into the arms of another foreign power.

This isn't really combating foreign influence, though? It's just swapping one owner for another...

Except in Adani's case, there was never any hope of Sri Lanka owning the port.
