The US goal for the war in Ukraine is to destabilize Europe and permanently eliminate its ability to challenge American hegemony, especially when Europe has been showing signs of forging stronger economic ties with Russia (esp. Nord Stream) and China.
America cannot risk a disobedient Europe when it finally concentrates its effort against China. Europe has to go first.
Blowback against the europe liberals who also sent weapons there, and yank liberals who will see a proliferation of neonazis paramilitary in yankland.

Yeah I agree for the euro libs, but for the American libs, that’s exactly what they wanted - fascist paramilitary that can kill left wing dissent at home when protests inevitably turn violent as capitalism crumbles.
They already have that now, always had it, I mean an actual non-braindead paramilitary doing terror bombings or even coup attempts
