Hey guys, I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max (256gb) and I was wondering what if I decide to take Apple Care and later on my phone breaks. I still have 31 days to decide.

In that case, what would it happen if I decide to take it to the Apple Store? Would it be changed? Will I get a discount for a new one if they can’t repair it?

Apple has stopped selling the iPhone 14 ever since the iPhone 15 got out so I was wondering if I should care about Apple Care or not.

They will either replace the damaged component or replace the phone with a “service replacement”. Service replacements are new or refurbished devices (you can’t tell the difference).

they have spare parts for older models for repair, they will also hold some refurb units for cases involving replacements

you won't get a discount, you can trade it in, but if it's cracked the trade-in value tanks, so it's usually your best bet to repair it before trading it in

i always get apple care because it's a no-brainer
