And yeah, fields is definitely not without his faults. That's sack rate is an issue as is the fumbling.

Last 17 games 3100 passing 1200 rushing 35 total tds 12 ints and a lot of fumbles.

Is there any precedent to a QB that runs so well (but wasn't a successful QB) transitioning to being a RB? Seems like if he doesn't stick in the league as a QB, he could excel as an RB and keep the defense guessing with gadget plays. And no, I haven't watched enough of Fields to be judging him as a QB, just asking a more general question if this has happened before.

Please don't post this, I need the Bears thinking that they don't need a QB upgrade.

Trade him to a good team. It’s not Fields’ fault.

Fields takes so many sacks, misses easy completions, and the turnovers are really bad too. It's one thing to not move the ball. But Fields has so many negative plays as a passer he actually hurts his team. He's performing worse than a game manager.
