Hey, so for a week or so “Play (song name) on spotify” no longer works for me on my apple watch - it just brings up spotify. Is there any known fix and does it work for you on the latest iOS+spotify? There used to be a fix for this but I can’t seem to find it on the spotify boards, maybe they broke the function with an update this time. I tried reinstalling the app on my watch and restarting both devices. Any information would help - does it work for you?

For me it only opens up the spotify app instead of playing a certain song ;/

Same thing is happening to me. I’ve reinstalled everything, updated the watch and still nothing :(

Update 11/16/23:

This issue has also been recognized on the Spotify forums. Today a moderator reached out for additional information on the issue. I posted details and attached a video link. Hopefully they can bubble this issue up and get us a fix quickly.
