What if we do pass on a QB this year? Imagine a rooking QB having MHJ, DJ, Kmet, a new center, and an elevated defensive front to come into the league with.

The problem with this is that its hard to get a top 5 pick. Top 3 ideally. In the last 23 years we have had 3 top 5 picks and we have been bad almost that entire time.
You see how much teams have to give to move up in the draft. Hell we had to give a ton to draft Trubiski.
If we have a top 3 pick, and we know we need a qb, we need to go ahead and draft one. Good QBs will be fine. The Colts won 3 game ls in Mannings rookie year. Cowboys won zero games in Aikmans rookie year.

Dislike your teaming winning since it drops the value of the Sweat Trade but can't deny the cold logic. Game knows game. Congrats on beating the worst team to guarantee you own the future first round picks.
