My Giants are due for TNF...
this is a big reason my beloved NBA could never compete with NFL. Awful teams vs each other are awesome to watch. BLowouts are awesome to watch.. wtf haha
Can they have actual panthers and bears fighting on a split screen?
At this point the announcers should go full on MST3K/Riff Trax. That would be amazing.
I just think of it as the battle for the first pick
Is it in Bears bear interest to lose or win? Regarding draft order. Or would a tie be best? Since they have their 1st and Carolina’s 1st next draft.
Either way this has to be an all worst matchup on Prime Time Game this late in the season, as far as team records are concerned.
The funniest part is that no matter who wins, it will both help and hurt the bears draft picks
every Thursday night game that isn't on network TV or NFL network is an embarrassment.
Titans vs Jaguars

I for one am incredibly excited because I believe TNF is about watching bad football.
You are thief of joy. Just because something isnt perfect you choose to stare at the flaw and criticize it. You would look at the liberty bell and bemoan the crack all the while ignoring the freedom it stands for. You would look at the Mona Lisa and lament its age while ignoring the artistic bliss on the canvas.
My challenge to you and to all the negative nellies out there is to watch the game and find the greatness on the field. Pay attention to the tackle who keeps stopping the end from getting to the QB, revel in the subtle shift in the hips of the RB as he breaks past the line of scrimmage, exalt in the poetry of the tapping toes of the WR along the sideline. There will be plenty of amazing moments. The score of the game and the season finish of the teams may not be remarkable, but it is football and if you want you will find the beauty.
Aww that’s beautiful
It's got a tighter spread than Monday Night Football. It's also a must win for the Bears as they have the Panthers 1st. There are alot worse games to watch this week.
My favorite was the absolute misery of a game last year where it was Washington (I think still Football Team) against the Colts. Washington won 10-7 when the Colts could’ve ended the game as a tie on the last play but instead went for it and lost lol. Worst game I have ever seen
are they still doing the puppy bowl? thats all I care about at this very moment.
I'm a Panthers fan, and it's hard for me to get motivated to watch it. I only care about it because I want to give them a lower draft pick next year.
No one else is gonna mention the Cardinals v Rams game from 2014? We saw the All Time QB Battle between Shaun Hill and Ryan Lindley. The three QBs who play got a combined passer rating of 61.75. The Rams leading rusher had 33 yards. Final score: 12-6.
It was probably the worst display of professional athletics I've ever seen.
Ok, so this is going to be an MST3K-worthy game.
I actually really enjoy TNF. I would never in my life willingly watch bad or average teams unless it were my own. It's a nice low threat casual thing to turn on in the background.
For the record I also sadistically LOVE preseason football.
I just read a stat that said the bears have a 47% percent chance of the #1 pick if they win and a 23% of the #1 pick if they lose. That's absurd levels of dogshit.
Titans Jags was pretty much an awful TNF tradition.
So how did the same scheduling department book this game this week, Bengals/Ravens next week, and think, “Yeah, this is about the same level of competition”?
This whole shitty season is THrusday night football
It will probably be more enjoyable that when us New Yorkers had to watch the jets - giants game honestly .
Watching HS football is more enjoyable this year than any NY team
As a Pats fan, go Bears!
If the game is close, I'll be glad I watched. I'd rather see the Panthers play the Bears than the Eagles.
Bill & Jets colorblind game in 2015.
Bad for a different reason, being how the hell did no one involved in the NFL use their brain for half a second? The game looked like this to 1/12 of the male audience.
I mean, this looks like this game is too determine which of Chicago's two 1st round draft picks will be first. Carolina can't even properly tank as they gave their first round pick away already. (I'm not watching.)
Did we forget about last year's Colts-Broncos game? Not a single touchdown was scored and both teams did almost everything in their power to help the other team win.
Bears are really going to want this to end in a tie, huh? No matter what, one of their picks tonight falls in value.
