He had a minor stroke in Mexico City. He's out of the hospital and on his way back to the US.

Woz is great. When my dad worked for a tech company in San Jose that provided 56k internet in the mid 90s, Woz was a customer and called tech support. My dad got to talk to him and the guy was nothing but sweet.

He also helped fund the Electronic Frontier Foundation, providing some of the organization's initial funding.
My first job back in high school was standing in a department store during the Christmas season demoing the Apple IIc. Wrote Steve Jobs a physical letter sometime in August or Spetember asking for a part time job so that I could upgrade my Mac 128k into a Mac Plus and someone from Apple actually contacted me.
In retrospect, the job didn't pay me enough to actually get the Mac Plus upgrade kit, but it was a lesson that frames how I interact with my own employees now.
Hope he's just goin in for a routine colonoscopy. This dude's the brain.

I listened to an interview where the people asked Steve Wozniak what was his greatest achievement. They went to residential area where Apple employees all had homes and he said that that was his greatest achievement.
