This makes me sad.
He visited my school back in 2017 and delivered a talk. It was a great talk, but he looked decidedly unhealthy back then. I hope he is taking better care of himself because his contribution to modern technology is effectively immeasurable.

Woz is the nerdy heart of Apple, I hope he’s ok
He is a legend! Hope he recovers quickly!
Never met him but my coworker back in ~2006 met him. He came into Sears and needed a Washer and Dryer. She sold him a high end Washer and Dryer. She had a ball chatting it up with him and I believe his wife. She was glowing for days having the chance to meet and chit chat with him.
There is no Apple without Steve. Both of them - but especially Woz.
Rarely does genius touch someone so empathetic, warm, outgoing and relatable. I wish him a speedy recovery.
He cut me off in traffic once. That’s my only experience with him
Everyone will eventually get old, sick and died. Some are less fortunate, they just died.
One of the greatest guys pretty much ever. Hoping for a speedy recovery and wishing his family well. Go volunteer with local youth organizations in his name!
Woz has been the ultimate nerd, in the best ways possible. He’s always carried a passion for technology that he has freely shared with others, and I will personally be forever grateful for all that he has done for the world. Steve was a personal hero of mine growing up, precisely because he was so kind hearted and such an unabashed nerd that he made me feel relatively comfortable being the same around others as well.
Here’s to hoping for the best for Steve….he’s a true treasure

He fainted in one of the highest (by elevation) cities in the world. I too hope it's nothing serious.
He gave me a tour of his house once. He is a good dude, really hope he's ok.

He’s such a wholesome person. It’s hard to put into words because it’s rare to see these days. He really, really loves technology. Super cool to talk to.

He’s 73, Steve Jobs would be 68 today.
Hopefully he gets better.
I was obsessed with early Apple in the late 90’s and emailed Woz one night on a whim. He wrote me back a few hours later. Such a wonderful guy.
I hope this is nothing serious.
Ha! I used to email Woz and Jobs all the time as a kid. They'd both respond! It was wild!
Woz is a truly nice guy. I wish him all the best.

I lost the email but I emailed Jobs back when he killed all the Mac clones and he wrote me a great personal email back with his reasons. Might have been a jerk to a lot of people but he had some good qualities
I mean, making a company worth billions pretty much guarantees you have to step on a lot of people on your way up and do some shady shit.

Do you mind sharing what you emailed him about?
We both kept it short.
Just basic questions about what it was like to co-found Apple. How he felt about the current state of the company (Apple was on the brink of collapse) things like that. I had trouble finding his perspective in the many books I read on Apple so I asked him.
He responded with very loving answers and asked me a few questions about myself. He emailed again and what really stuck out was that he told me how proud he was of his own son who was just a little younger than me, I think he was graduating high school around that time. He also wished me success in life because I told him that I was close to graduating college.
He was just the kindest, sweetest, and most down-to-earth family man you could imagine.
Sometimes meeting your heroes is actually a blessing.

I met woz years ago at a work conference. He was animated and generally excited to meet everyone he encountered. Good guy with a big heart I hope he’s OK.
Please don't. He is as sweetest a technician can get.

When I went to Genius training in Cupertino back in early 2008, Woz came by the retail training labs and took 4 of us to get hamburgers in his Hummer. I remember he bought extra burgers for his dogs and had a machined metal business card. Just a helluva nice guy, shot the breeze about all sorts of stuff. Real nerdy, Nixie tube watch and all =)
Hope he's alright.
Met him during Genius training too, on the way to beer bash, super nice guy, he chatted with us about the movie “Pirates of Silicon Valley” which was hilarious.
I wish you hadn’t told me he drove a Hummer, cause I think less of him now

One Steve was enough, but two is depressing; especially how important Wozniak was to Apple from the beginning .

My guess/hope is it’s altitude related - hopefully just needs some rest and fluids. It apparently happened right after a speech, which I assume exacerbated the symptoms
He’s in Mexico City so hopefully it’s just altitude sickness or something and he’ll be OK
