Is there a way to set up iPhone without transferring everything over? (alien.top)

Hello all, I want to start fresh on a new phone and only transfer contacts, messages and a few apps to the new iphone. Is this possible without downloading everything from iCloud?

I think you can choose what to download into your new phone but I’m not really sure tbh

Yeh you can choose what you want to transfer.

Just transfer everything as it is easier and delete what you don’t want on your new phone. When switching from Samsung to iPhone, I left my contacts and calendar on the Samsung as the transfer had many omissions, and double entries. Besides, I already had the data on the Samsung along with the paid for alarms I bought that would not transfer without buying them again.
