Ever since the iOS 17 update my iMessages freezes everytime I open a new text and requires me to quit app and wait a minute to reopen it to load a text. I have a 12 Pro. Am I alone?

It does baffle me how often I see people reporting issues with iOS when I’ve been using it since before it was iOS with literally less issues than I could count on one hand.

Let’s start at the beginning. What have you tried to fix it?
