I have never seen a good picture of this guy

Bill Belichick’s decision making has infuriated people in New England area

[–] I_HateToSayAtodaso@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They should just play the injury riddled Bills defense every week.

[–] HanSolo5643@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The issue is that he hasn't been given much help here. Matt Patricia and Joe Judge and Bill O'brien aren't the greatest hires. He doesn't have the greatest passing targets to work with either. He is not being put in a position to succeed by the Patriots.

They’ve been sold this smart, efficient, game-managing quarterback and they’re not getting it.

They should sue whoever sold them damaged goods! Really though as frustrated as they are with Mac the language used in the article reeks of lack of accountability from the front office staff. Could just be poor journalism, idk.

I'm not saying he'll ever be 'good' but Mac is going to leave and people are going to be stunned when he looks at bare-minimum competent as a QB again (provided he ends up in a quality organization).

[–] Chemical_Product5931@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just because your a good college player doesn’t mean you’re an nfl player, ask Tebow

[–] B1G_Fan@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maybe they could’ve made sure Mac Jones’ decision making improved this season if they had better coaching last season…

[–] FeralFloridian@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Lets play a game,Of the offensive starters who from the patriots would start on the Jags.

I'll also take answers that swap out the Jets in place of the jags for extra spice.

[–] RmembrTheAyyLMAO@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Jags: Trent Brown. Bourne (RIP) would be a starting WR3 if you run 11 personnel.

Jets: Mac, Brown, Andrews, Bourne (RIP)

The solution is right there: hire Josh McDaniels. Mac actually looked good his rookie year with Josh calling plays. Maybe his confidence is shit and he’s damaged beyond repair, but you might as well try.

[–] ChetManley20@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lmao “he loses to Washington that’s the last straw”

[–] mbrogan4@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mac Jones went from the premier college dynasty to the premier professional sports dynasty and shat the bed so badly their going to implode the program.

[–] DontPMMeBro@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

There was a clear number 1 QB in his draft class, but there was a debate for 2-5. The only "advantage" Mac had over Fields, Lance and Wilson was his decision making. Everyone claimed Mac was the most ready to step in to the NFL because of his decision making. It's been God awful this year... Like, he doesn't look like he belongs in the league

[–] ChienPo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is O’Briens karma for what he did to us

[–] CDR57@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I legitimately saw that they were making their way downfield against Washington at the end of the game and thought “now would be the perfect time for a mac interception” and like 2 plays later it happened lol he’s the absolute opposite of Brady

[–] dank-nuggetz@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You do realize that was a perfect tight window through that went straight through both of Juju's hands, right?

[–] tiltrage@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Patriot organization's decision making has infuriated me.

[–] CaptainDAAVE@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Tom Brady is the only reason the Pats were good

and now Mac Jones is the only reason the Pats are bad.

There were no other factors. NOT EVEN WIND.

[–] MetroExodus2033@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's not good! Pats' fans have made excuses for him for a long time now.

[–] grilledcheesy11@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

All issues with Mac Jones aside he has one of the worst collection of players at the skill positions I have ever seen.

[–] grandzu@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Man, they were gaga for him last year.

[–] Fussel2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Outside of it, too.

[–] Pitiful_Ad8641@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Just got done watching the All 22 from this past Sunday and HOLY CRAP hes god awful. We easily lose if any better QB plays

[–] the_blessed_unrest@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

What a great photo

[–] Twicebakedpotatoe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s infuriating people outside the organization too

[–] ModOverlords@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Thought he was one of those “cerebral” Alabama QBs

[–] atreyus_ghost@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (6 children)

Shit line, shit receivers, shit coaching.

Patriots: Why would Mac Jones do this to us?

Lol they really love hyping the drama don't they.

[–] DigOlBick99@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The bloom came off that rose quick, eh

[–] Bobby_Newpooort@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Can you believe that moron decided to throw a 50-yard bomb to an open receiver? And then, in the same game, throw a slant to the open receiver that hit him right in the hands?

Infuriating!

[–] Wise_Mongoose_3930@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I too fondly remember the rare plays in which he doesn’t suck

You love to see it.

[–] Lifesaboxofgardens@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Someone is going to have to tell the Patriots fanbase they are not actually inside the organization.

[–] RainIML@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

so much dirt coming out of the org right now lol

[–] ImaginaryTown7744@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Mac Jones reportedly ‘infuriated’ with Patriots organization for giving him zero help on offense

[–] Geg0Nag0@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Considering the mess the Patriots are in I'm not sure I'd been putting much stock in the opinion of people inside the organization

Mac hasn't been playing great but that roster is a barren wasteland of offensive talent.

Patriots org decision making has 'infuriated' players inside the patriots team

[–] Kyrosiv@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I can’t imagine what last year did to him. Two guys who had no experience being an offensive coordinator in the NFL probably competing for power in the org running one of the least talented offenses in the NFL can’t have been good for his growth into a mature NFL QB.

[–] dgjapc@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mac Jones kicking people in the nuts on and off the field

[–] Bflatsharpeleven@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Do game tape breakdowns bear this out, or is he just stuck on a team with the most CPU-created Madden players imaginable

Mac Jones microwaves fish in the Patriots cafeteria

[–] Albert_Borland@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Mr. Baked Cod

[–] kruegerc184@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lmfao, random story, somebody at work today microwaved some sort of curry, fish combination, people were audibly complaining the entire time. I was dying because honestly i dont mind either smell…but it was pretty pungent.

If you can’t inflate or deflate your balls correctly or learn how to read an offense on tape or be a stud according to the NFL, then what good are you truly?
