I’m powering my home lab with an APC UPS running on four 12V-18Ah batteries. The total power consumption of my devices is around 100W, so theoretically I should get 8 hours runtime(12x18x4/100), but I understand I’ll never get that in reality. So, what would be the proper way to test how long the UPS can actually run before it cuts off power, without damaging the batteries? I’m not sure if the APC UPS come with low voltage protection. Thanks!

There's an APC daemon that tells me a "Time Left" value in my unRAID server. There may be something similar in whatever you have it plugged into via USB (windows, Linux, etc). I'd also look at the different options for the onscreen display. Check your manual.
