13 pro max was peak iphone IMO
Apple
A place for Apple news, rumors, and discussions.
How do you put the widgets to the side? I can’t do that…
He actually has 3 widgets side by side. Weather app (which takes 1/2 room), and then two smaller widgets that are 1/4.
Everything after 13 pro does not make me want to be a new iPhone. Might upgrade at 16 or 17 provided the upgrade is a difference
From all the Phones i held in my hands, my iPhone 15 Pro feels the best to me. I love how it is, and in the Natural Titanium it kinda reminds me of my first gen iPhone SE i used a long time ago, ykwim?
14th for me
Hipe this pro max serves me for time to come tbh
The iPhone 15 is very refined. Love it
14 pro max. I just love the weight from the stainless steel frame. Hope Apple goes back to it someday
13 mini by far
5S was the best iPhone. Back when Apple had one goal, and only one goal: take what already has been proven to work and do it the best.
None of the experimental "let's throw random stuff at the wall and see what sticks" that was everything between the 6 and the 12.
I love the body of the iPhone 7. There’s something satisfying about an aluminum monocoque that I’m not getting from the squared off models with glass backs, without mentioning the 120g weight, absurd thinness and beautifully integrated camera bump.
How many times a week does this need to get posted?
6S was my favourite, it was just extremely reliable and had the best camera for its time. Same design as the 6 but everything else was elevated up a notch.
Headphone jack was a godsend especially when the world was just not ready to let go of it in the next few years. The performance of this phone was amazing as well, I used it for over 4 years and even then there were more software updates to come and it didn’t really experience many slowdowns unlike the iPhones before it (in contrast, the performance of my dad’s 6 didn’t age as well).
For me the iPhone 4S will always have a place in my heart lol. Idk what about it made it so special to me, but it’s definitely my favorite iPhone of all time.
iPhone SE (3rd gen) Got it on sale and got it because I like the home button. (On sale from Total By Verizon for around $150)
After having a 5s 6 13pm and now 15pm I love the usb c and titanium lightness. Tho iphone 6 was quite nice to hold
Iphone 5s
During their time? Iphone 6.
iphone 4, iphone x, iphone 13 pro are all goated
The iPhone 5.
The iPhone 5 was the first iPhone offered by T-Mobile. No longer did I have to mess with unlocks.
I vote 6S
iPhone mini. Edge to edge display in a small phone
5S
3GS is the GOAT
13 pro because of it’s pro motion display and battery life. :)
X
4 to 5s best era
iPhone XS. I had this phone for a while, and now it is in my collection of phones after I was given an iPhone 13.
I phone 6 has been my favorite. The x was my least favorite.
I entered the Apple ecosystem with the 12 mini and really liked it. I just upgraded to the 15 pro because I got tired of the small screen and WOW it’s the best phone I’ve ever owned. I love the smooth ProMotion screen, I really missed the high refresh on my Pixel 4. I love the macro mode for photos. And the Dynamic Island has really grown on me, it’s such a cool QoL thing. So I’ll say this generation is my favorite!
The 5s was a fun generation! My top fav is probably the 8/X generation because of how much it pushed wireless charging pads.
12
iPhone 5s. The only one I am keeping till date.
It’s always the current version. Why would anyone prefer an older phone?
iPhone 13 Pro
The original SE is my all time favorite.
I used to upgrade my phone every now and then, but I bought my iPhone 12 out of sheer necessity and it’s been lasting me a solid 3 years and counting. Still works perfectly
That said, I still hate the notch after all these years. At least it’s not detached like in the new iPhones, which would drive me insane. They bother me a lot on my MacBook
iPhone 4S
iPhone 12/13 mini
Performance and camera upgrades aside, I haven't felt the same enjoyment from any newer models than what my Gold XS Max gave me.
The camera bump was unobtrusive enough to not require a bumper around a case cutout and the phone would lay flat. It's a small thing, but I miss that more than I ever thought I would.
iPhone 7, good memories.
last one i had was iphone 6s and i loved that thing. bought another one as my work phone not long ago and it's nice to relive old memories even if it's now outdated. that'll be my pick
Just because it is the first ever iPhone I have owned, I must go with 14. I know it's essentially 13 with minor new features and so on, but that was the generation I finally bit the bullet and switched over from Android after years of considering.
And I love it.
4
6s
For me the 8+. The last generation of the Home button/fingerprint iPhones, which I truly missed at the time when I upgraded to the iPhone 11. Was the most refined example of those iPhones. A super functional and simple design when the iPhone’s focus was more on practicality than all the quirks we have on iPhones nowadays. That was 3 iPhones ago for me. Nonetheless, I had no complaints, moving onto the Face ID generation and nowadays, I can’t imagine going back to the home button. If I could go back, I would probably own the iPhone 11 again, due to its size and durability. I miss those small iPhones back when we didn’t have a choice. I can’t help but get the biggest model nowadays haha.
Coming from 6s plus to 15 pro max. Other than the weight of the phone, I love the rest. I cant believe this is already reduced weight.
iPhone 4.
It genuinely was a generational leap not just in performance, but appearance as well.
The phone went from plastic materials used in the prior models to stainless steel, screen got upgraded to the Retina display along with increase pixel density, camera specs was upgraded to 5 megapixel along with LED flash, second microphone for noise cancellation, gyroscope, front facing camera long with the introduction of FaceTime.
It was a beautiful premium phone, & Steve Jobs presentation of it was quite fun to watch.
