Some panels look a bit rough on the art style. Oda couldn't finish this chapter in time and wrote a message on the title page, on Brooks legs:

TCB: "This chapter's manuscript is unfinished. Sorry - Oda"

Redon: "I couldn't finish drawing in time. Sorry"

We had 3 chapters in a row, with the last 2 having a few less pages. I don't really know why all of this. Is Oda maybe preparing something for the coming chapter 1100? Or does he want to finish a few more to hit a goal for the year 2023?

Im happy that Oda is getting a break next week. This flashback is interesting and i want to see oda provide it at his best. Honestly though, i kinda enjoy the toughness of the chapter because i like how it shows process.

As far as I'm aware this is the first time a chapter has been released with unfinished artwork. I hope Oda's doing OK, I'll never get over how insane it is that he's been doing a weekly manga for over 25 years. That said I really like how the art style looks, it has finer line art and feels more serious and mature than recent chapters. It reminds me of his older styles.
