Yeah, what the heck. RUS and others had just shown how well the softs were holding up, but McLaren went with hards for a final 14-15 laps. I just don't get it..

Piastri holding his own against Max is quite impressive
If the Mclaren pace holds on this could get interesting
as usual, Max ruining the fun for everyone.
I wonder if the stewards are going to investigate the Hulkenberg-Perez contact.
Norris just dropped out of DRS. Get ready for the gap to build fast now.
He's not that far outside the range. I think he'll get at least one more shot.

Cant win the championship so he's tanking in qualifying so he can win driver of the day every race...

I thought that was one of Ferrari's engineers.
Less than half way through and the gap is up to 5 seconds. Still it's nice to see McLaren holding position, would be very happy if we finished like this.
Leclerc doing good lap times on the hards, I think the C1s might be pretty good.
EDIT: scratch that he's not getting temps in them.
Seems like it takes five laps for the hards to warm up properly, as Charles is now able to improve pace.
Sainz with the fastest lap, and that's on hards
But that was a nice overtake!
3.9 seconds. Ayyyy. They need to get better at that.
