He could be the new Dan Quayle. No one knows where he ended up, and importantly, no one cares.
Dan Quayle may have saved US democracy by advising Pence to do his fucking job and certify the election .

It's like Trump set out to prove how incompetent Vance is before he runs for president. Next he'll send Rubio on a series of challenges to prove what a loser he is.
Then Trump can say, "Well, I tried to give these guys a chance to prove themselves, but they failed at everything. Looks like I'll just have to stick around for another term."

You're not looking at it from the right direction.
If you look at it from the perspective of 'do what daddy Peter tells you to do' he is reasonably talented.
Maybe he’s born with it. Maybe it’s Maybelline.

I believe he gets setup to fail by Trump. 3 terms and a movie. He was also asked/forced to say the line "Iranian nuclear vest suicide bombers in supermarkets", and was told by Israel to fail the Iran peace talks midway through.
They never said thank you.
