SEIU said they rescinded their endorsement because Wiener opposes the CEO tax

The dude is trying to lose the election isn't he?

I hope so! I still think he is likely to win. So many people in SF vote based on name recognition alone. I had a conversation with someone that told me Saikat needs to stand in line like Scott did.

Weiner is definitely far ahead on name recognition alone, but there's some time for things to change, especially if his unpopular policy positions keep surfacing.

scott wiener sucks - he has some great stances like yimbyism and has authored many pro trans pieces of legislation. but then he is also a zionist who is suckling at the teat of corporate and real estate overlords, a corporate democrat at his core

Weiner's in my district.

I loved him as a Supervisor, and in the State Senate, but he's not who I want to see replacing Pelosi in Congress.

Scott Wiener is a zionist who has defended Israel and refused to call it a genocide. He did backtrack on that after receiving backlash. He also takes money from a bunch of corporate lobbies. Fuck him.

Saikat Chakrabarti is the actual principled progressive candidate for California's 11th district.

Chakrabarti is who I'm leaning towards too.

This article doesn't even mention Saikat's name. Only Connie Chan, who doesn't stand a chance at winning, but is likely to siphon off votes from Saikat.

This is welcoming news. I hope he fumbles more.
