Sad to say I think hitler would at least be more dignified that Donnie in his threats.
No point ever giving Hitler a compliment, even one at someone else’s expense.
Except to point out that Hitler killed himself way better than Trump.

I remember when we used to imagine some future politician leading us over the edge because they are so clever and well spoken.
I mean, the speech on 4th September 1940 for example is not that dissimilar.
Caveat
I'd recommend Americans look for villains in their own history though, because in the US perception, Nazi Germany is far away and alien ("Look what those weird people over there are/were doing, we would never do that and if, it would be them possessing us/our leaders")
