I think it makes more sense to say praise be to christ in this case, no? That was an insult, not...literally praising allah.
I haven't had Chick-fil-A in close to 10 years. Fuck em.
The chicken is half decent but like, I just kind of hate them even more than I hate other fast food restaurants because of their politics. I know there are no virtuous corporate overlords but the closed on Sunday thing is really fucking pretentious.
New York State gave them a contract to be in every rest stop on our main highway. I was opposed on moral grounds initially, but when I found out about the Sunday thing, I was flabbergasted at how boneheaded a move it was. Literally travelers can't get food on the highway one day per week.
i hear they have decent sauces but like, sweet baby rays is better.
There's a chain called Pollo campero and they have this campero sauce and it's so good. Better than Chick fil a sauce, and I like their chicken more too. Chick fil a has super soft chicken that toothless people can eat it with ease, and I don't like that type of chicken.
I concur! Sweet Baby Ray's is superior home decor and makes a great bookend!
Sweet Baby Ray's isn't my favorite sauce out there but it's pretty damn good for a sweet, tomato based sauce. Like, to the point where there are a significant number of better commercial sauces (and a hell of a lot of worse sauces, let's be honest) what use it as the base for their recipes.
I'm not going to relegate it to furniture like KC Masterpiece or some garbage like that.

okay so like, i have a couple bottles of spices (red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, colon cleanser) in every room for pizzamergencies and all popcornventualities. also late night tortilla runs. but sweet baby rays? it's not that good what the hell.

Not who you asked but the restaurant makes great food and has awesome service. Best chicken sandwich in the fast food world. They have waffle fries and good lemonade.
That about ends that. The reason a lot of people boycott them is because they have donated to anti-LGBT+ causes (conversation therapy) and other hate fueled political agendas that people don't like.

It's not even as good as it used to be. The quality of the buns and the chicken have dramatically changed. Even the pickles are worse than they used to be. Their sodas have always been mostly ice, and the quality of the waffle fries has always been location dependent. How hasn't another chain taken over their market share?
PDQ is a realistic replacement if you have one nearby.
Dave's Hot Chicken is pretty damn good for a national brand too.
Edit: I just realized PDQ is pretty much exclusively in Fl and VA, USA

Real talk, at least in my area CFA's service is still head and shoulders above any other fast food restaurant. I will often choose them over other locations because I know I won't be waiting around for 10-15mins for my order.
Don't they donate their profits to anti gay churches?
They used to, then they got caught and said they stopped...then it came out the founder still did it, then he died. His son and current owner probably still does? But then one of its locations recently celebrated a gay couple's marriage and the national chain backed them up so who knows anymore.
That was the CEO, afaik.
Recently, corporate backed a restaurant in Utah when people complained about them flying pride flags, so the culture there might be changing.
