The lawn service I was using disabled their web page and only allowed you to make changes via the app or phone.
Of course, they didn't let you cancel the service from the app, so I had to use the phone to do that.

Give me a proper efficient native app that integrates nicely into my system, and you might have my interest. But most of these apps are web apps packaged as standalone apps anyway - that's what bugs me the most.
You are so right. I too am one of the few. There is no amount of website enshitification that will convert me to the app.
