Linking your shitty community in the description while considering a watermark in a comic strip to be advertising is peak irony.
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Limit of two posts per person per day.
- Bots aren't allowed.
- Banned users will have their posts removed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

WITH attribution left intact

there's a level of irony to omitting the artist's wordmark on an "i made this" meme comic lol
The worst part is that the unattributed versions are out there now to be shared. He's creating hundreds of images that will continue to spread, ensuring that the artists never get credit for their work. It's a real piece of shit move. This guy needs to be banned.
If you're going to sneakily change what the creator drew or wrote, why stop at the creator's name? Why not fix up a dull punch line or tidy up a drawings weaknesses?
How would we know you aren't doing that already?
Did you make your own community just so you can cater to yourself with mandatory attribution removal? lol.
Me when people visit. It was improved three times since Covid by an experienced carpenter and his creative wife. then they sold it to us.
this feels a lot like when a product proudly declares "made in europe" or "made in america" while only the last processing step is done there, 99% of processing steps before that are done in china.
