So this place just popped up and I'm kind of obsessed. Built around 1930 by some famous architect who also did work for the Vanderbilt family. Get this - the architect was actually married to Theodore Roosevelt's granddaughter and they ended up living here for decades. This is apparently only the third time it's hit the market since it was built

The property sits on like 250+ acres with these incredible valley views. There's this whole trail system that winds through forests and streams, plus they've got orchards and pastures. The house itself has 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and get this - 10 different fireplaces scattered throughout

What's wild is how much it looks like something you'd find in the Scottish countryside rather than here. The stonework and architectural style are just stunning

But then you look at the interior photos and... well, let's just say it needs someone with vision and a serious renovation budget. The bones are incredible but it's definitely a project

Anyone else think places like this are basically impossible to maintain unless you've got Vanderbilt money?
