In the first two weeks of its war on Iran, the US spent an estimated $2.1 billion a day. It’s no wonder Donald Trump is saying that the cost of war means the federal government can’t afford to spend money to help Americans meet their basic needs.

$2.1 billion divided among 300 million people (rough American population size) is $7. This means every American citizen is having $7 stolen from them every day to fund a war waged on behalf of Israel, including children and babies.

Keep in mind, the justification for attacking Iran was that they might acquire nuclear weapons. The justification for attacking Iraq is that they might have nuclear weapons. Israel has nuclear weapons and we do nothing to stop them.

It's time the world stops suffering for Israel.

I think people generally understand how very expensive it is.

Depends on who you ask. I'd say about a third of the US population doesn't even think about it.

$2.1B/day is actually more expensive than I would've guessed. Holy...

What's less clear is which of these expenses are for having such a big military in the first place, and what it costs on top to shoot all those missiles.
