I am not convinced she was dumped. She's walking directly into some cushy "private sector" role. She did the job that trump asked her to do and that's her reward.
She's the fall guy for sure but that was entirely by design and I'm sure she's well aware of that. But who cares if everyone hates you when you got your golden ticket.
I find myself wondering if her cushy "private sector" exit is a direct result of her having seen the fully unredacted Epstein Files. Trump knows he can't piss her off enough to spill those beans.
It's amazing to me how all of them - every single one - has the mindset of "it's not like it'll ever happen to me."
I don't think that's it, I think they get that they're expendable but even being in the peripheries and immediately canned will help their career and themselves financially given the open and blatant insider trading that is the Hallmark of the current administration.

I'm looking at it more like a CEO that's hired specifically to come in and do the shit the board wants but users don't want, take the blame, and leave with a paycheck while the same board continues on like normal.

But I wonder sometimes - if they are too stupid to not understand that money isn't happiness, does it matter? If they wake up every day in that bed of money thinking, "Oh, I'm so glad. Integrity is for those woke morons. Their tears were the perfect seasoning for my caviar, creme fraiche and blini breakfast. Truly I made all the right choices, and was chosen by God," then does it make a difference?
I know we're probably not even putting them in a metal box in this lifetime, but dream with me for a moment: If somehow we were able to impose a punishment on them that included the duty to feel shame, we'd probably need to teach them what shame is before they could even serve their time.

The guy who wrote Trump's 'Art of the Deal' for him made out like a bandit, and could have ridden the gravy train for years. Instead he left Trump's orbit as soon as he could and spent the rest of his life regretting his choice to get involved in the first place.
When they are punished, they'll tell you that it's politics, and you'd have done exactly what they did.
They must know that their primary role is to take the fall for Trump, right? Their job is to absorb the blows and bad press (and sometimes literal bullets), and once they get too much baggage they get dumped. It's mafia style governance.
Honestly they can't know that and that's what makes it so embarrassing. They think they were chosen to be on some winning team of some zero sum game, and they're sold.
It's also what makes it delicious.
But make no mistake, she will be replaced by a white man who makes less waves and does more damage.
You must be tongue in cheek about them knowing. I don't find anyone foolish enough to work for the Donvict to be bright enough to connect that not only is your position disposable but likely career ruining. Any attorney looking at Giuliani and Trumpepstein ought to take pause as to where this leads. Those that do not, like Bondi, are just another mark to be conned.
I'm not so sure, the entire modern GOP culture prioritizes loyalty to the leader above all else (even the stock market!) I think it's possible these lieutenants understand that taking the fall for the leader will be viewed by the party to be an act that demonstrates the depth of their loyalty (and therefore helps their future career).
EDIT: Giuliani I think is probably an exception along with some other characters like Mike Lindell that actually are too dumb to understand what's going on.
