100%. Lemmy is my new drug.

trying
Im using this ios app Memmy. It reminds me so much of Apollo. Now just need to give some so all the communities switch to lemmy. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/memmy-for-lemmy/id6450204299
I doomscroll only here, but I still refer (read only) to some niche communities for historical information on reddit. Itβs still too small here for the small niches to have an active community. Trying to post more here too
I'm slowly transitioning over to Lemmy with the goal of eventually ditching Reddit.
I'm tempted to go back... but only to see how are things going, how's the outcome of the exodus and such
Deleted my comments and account and now I'm here. Though Im kinda trying to get off social media and so I'm on lemmy sparingly. Trying to be more productive with my time.
Yah mon.
I left during the blackout. I use reddit occasionally for specific questions I can't find anywhere else. It's a shit hole, but an old and useful shit hole.
My third eldest, Larissa, she was talking about this just last week. She is very smart, Iβll give her that, because she was the first in the family to go to university. And she passed with distinctions. So weβre all quite proud of her.
Yes. This exactly.
I haven't deleted anything on reddit, but I have not been back there since the protests began. The Fediverse is my new home and I am happy to be here.
I prefer Squiggy
Yes. Just hoping lots of communities get as popular as asklemmy and showerthoughts. Sad looking up some Reddit equivalents and seeing 2 subscribers and no posts.
Already have.
Trying to. Itβs hard because Iβm super lonely and want to connect with people. But itβs still really new here and not a lot of users are here yet.
gock.........
I browse through brave browser out of spite now hit after downloading Memmy Iβve found myself on Lemmy way more than Reddit. Also feel I contribute a lot more to conversations than I did on Reddit.
Yep. This place is great.
Working on it for sure.
Yes. I am just waiting/looking for some apps that made Reddit actually usable to support ~~Lemmy~~ Lenny. Right now the user experience is a bit lacking, with the apps I tested so far having no support for gifs and constant confusion of not being on the right instance.
Yup, even if Lemmy lacks in content it's general plus in my book, no mindless scrolling, have time to touch the grass etc
Didn't delete my account or anything, but fuck them
I only ever go there to check the front page/news now. Lemmy is growing fast, but being decentralized, at the moment it's still easier to catch up on politics and world news using reddit.
Would be easiers by subscribing to theses communities until they merge in one. You will see more subjects that interest you.
Until the merge, I have different accounts with different orientations.
Actually, if u don't do that, Lemmy is really "hazardous".
Haven't even opened reddit from google results since the protest started. I've also been removing subreddits from my RSS reader
A mix between hacker news and Lemmy
I'm trying. Since boost stopped working. I have been on reddit twice. It's a painful shit experience now and I hate it.
But also. Lemmy isnt quite enough yet. But it's helping me stay off the web more.
FB sucks. Reddit sucks and lemmy isn't itching my need for information.
Oh well. :).
