Welcome to femcel memes. A place where anybody can post memes that fit the vibe.

Warning: We have a tendency to post things that may at times come from a self-deprecating perspective or things that are funny coming from another queer person. This space will always be a safe place for transfems, non-binary people, people with a feminine gender expression (GNC or otherwise) or anybody else in the LGBT Community to come together and share about our experiences but we truly feel that laughing about the sometimes silly and embarrassing parts the queer experience can help bring us together. We never mean offense or harm in anything posted but rather they are satirical takes coming from queer people.

A note about 'Egging': Our community is mostly made up of transfem individuals, and as such most memes posted will be posted with the intention of having a transfem perspective. However, regardless of gender identity, all feminine presenting individuals are welcome here. Whether that means you're NB, GNC, transmasc, or any other identity, you are welcome here. It is not our intention or goal to invalidate these identities. If something makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to report the post and I will address your concerns on an individual level. Alright, now that it’s been brought up, can I just ask whether anyone else is tired of this obsession with shaving? I’m on the other side of the aisle and I can’t understand how hairlessness is meant to be attractive, pleasant to maintain, or (and this is the weirdest one) tactful. Women have body hair. Why it in vogue to pretend they don’t?

I shave my foot hair, but only because it catches on my socks. I’ve heard exactly one woman complaining about groin hair catching on fabric and that was because it had been shaved recently.

Women deserve body hair and large pants pockets, but that’s just my political opinion.

Idgaf about bush hair tbh, I actually prefer it! It has a very nice hand feel. I do prefer shaved legs tho.

I'd like to add that pubic hair can make a big difference for sex as far as chaffing goes. Having sex with everything shaved leaves my skin irritated. Even just a tuft of hair helps prevent that from happening.

Point is, pubic hair serves a purpose. Besides, the challenge of shaving pubic hair in its entirety isn't worth it to me. You get maybe a day where it's smooth, then itchy bumps that you can't scratch in public for a week afterwards. Not to mention the struggle of shaving an intimate area that you can't easily see or reach, putting a razor super close to extremely sensitive body parts and hoping your hand doesn't slip... no, thank you! Just accept that I'm a grown woman and grown women have hair. If that's a hard line for you, then I guess you're not getting laid. ¯\(ツ)

Feels better, both to have smooth skin and to feel smooth skin. Just looks better too ¯_(ツ)_/¯

same goes for men, too, society just doesn't pressure men the way it does women

[–] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 6 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

It's very subjective. There's plenty of people who enjoy the look of natural hair on bodies.

[–] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago) (1 children)

*ding* Someone confident enough in their body to allow themselves to grow out their hair and age naturally? Oooh baby!

[–] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 3 points 2 hours ago

Thank you! It really irks me to see the sentiment that shaved is better. Women don't need more messaging about how we're supposed to be hairless or that it's better to be shaved. Everyone can choose how to keep their bodies and we should all respect that.

[–] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 11 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago)

I grew so tired of the obsession, I stopped shaving completely. I’m a woman for the record.

It hasn’t affected my ability to get laid at all. No one noticed while I was on a beach vacation. It’s generally way over hyped.

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 40 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

I don't shave for aesthetics, personally, I shave because I hate having body hair, it bothers me.

[–] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 11 points 20 hours ago

I sorta get it, but it’s really not for me to understand. I just don’t care for the ambient social pressure in the US.

Lots of men shave/wax, too. Most "hot" male hollywood stars are showing up with a completely hairless upper body to their shirtless scenes. There's definitely more pressure on women IRL, though.

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 5 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

That's sad. Chest hair is hot.

I didn't think so back when I was a teen (a time when most boys my age didn't have chest hair yet, so it made sense.) But as I got older and it became age-appropriate, I started to really, really like it. There's nothing like grabbing a handful of chest hair in the midst of passion (provided that he's into that.)

[–] MML@sh.itjust.works 10 points 18 hours ago

Don't shave, trim

[–] Damaskox@lemmy.world 4 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

As a man, my experience with women's hair down there is positive generally. When it comes to oral pleasure however, it gets challenging to me personally.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 5 points 10 hours ago (4 children)

The only real issue with oral is that some hairs stay in your mouth.

[–] socsa@piefed.social 3 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

I am a fan of hair in general, but I will say that inhaling a pube and having it cling to the back of your throat is a pretty big mood killer.

[–] moakley@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

You're supposed to put your mouth on the parts that don't have hair.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 hours ago

Basically same.

I've completely wiped out my moustache and beard for various people who enjoy kissing me, but not the facial hair.

Some people like the scratch, others don't, others don't really have a strong preference either way, so long as they don't have to go through a mane and end up with a mouthful of hair.

Just... do that both ways, for 'kissable' body parts, per preference of the 'kisser', and its fine?

This seems very not complicated to me.

[–] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 3 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Goes both ways, too lol. Trimming down below can be helpful for either gender if oral is involved.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Sadly cannot confirm if it goes both ways

[–] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 2 points 8 hours ago (1 children)
[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 1 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

I believe you, it makes total sense. Just a little self pitty here

[–] sneakypersimmon@lemmy.today 3 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Aw sorry, I wasn't trying to rub it in either! Life is too short to not try to put someone's genitals in your mouth haha

You never know what tomorrow will bring!

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 1 points 8 hours ago

Oh it's the other way around. I've had them in my mouth though not as ofren as I'd like. I have not had my genjtals in someone else's mouth.

[–] gegil@sopuli.xyz 3 points 16 hours ago

I usually shave my body hair in summer when i wear lighter clothes with more open skin. Its just easier to apply sun protecting cream to bare skin compared to hairy skin.

[–] brookedSmile@lemmy.blahaj.zone 29 points 21 hours ago (4 children)

Honestly starting to shave more and more areas has made me hate body hair more and more. Idk why, but any hair that isnt my eyebrows or on top of head drives me absolutely insane now. It gets to be much to shave everything all the time, i do it in cycles. If i never grew it again, id be a happy girl

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

So, I am a dude, thus take this with a grain of salt perhaps, but:

Find you a person who will be excited to, and capable of safely shaving/trimming you.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 9 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (2 children)

Protip from a formerly hairy woman - get waxed every month for at least a year (I did it for 2 years), and the hair grows back much softer ... now I shave my legs once a week, and it's quick and easy :-)

Edit: get it waxed by a pro, don't try and do it at home

[–] Whats_your_reasoning@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago) (1 children)

I have waxed at home, but I can concur with this. Shaving leaves the tips of hair sharp, but when it grows in from the root it gets a fine, naturally-tapered tip that makes it feel softer.

Which is part of why the myth of "if you shave your hair, it will come back thicker" is so prevalent. The hair doesn't permanently change texture from shaving, it's just that once you get into a habit of doing it regularly, it will feel rough all the time because of it.

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 3 hours ago

Not just that, waxing damages the roots and weakens them, making the hair grow back finer

The same thing can bite you in the ass if you over-pluck your eyebrows

[–] brookedSmile@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 15 hours ago

Ill look into this, thank you!

[–] rumschlumpel@feddit.org 7 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 18 hours ago) (1 children)

I even got some kind of "razor burn" from professional waxing, and I kinda hate having all this body hair. FML

[–] brookedSmile@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

OMG i have the most sensitive skin ive ever seen on anyone. Waxing and hair remover is a nogo, especially because the hair that grows from that skin is also very thick. Ive used hair remover and managed burning my skin before all the hair would come.

Ive tried waxing too but no matter how i do it it doesnt actually pull the hair. Maybe i dont let it grow enough? Idk

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 16 hours ago

Get a pro to do your waxing - 1000% less painful, quicker, and more successful

[–] rumschlumpel@feddit.org 4 points 18 hours ago* (last edited 18 hours ago) (1 children)

AFAIK you do need to grow it out a bit, especially when it's your first time (the finer hairs that grow from well-waxed skin should offer less resistance). That was one of the issues when I went to a professional waxing one time. The chemical hair remover I've tried has been useless, too. At this point, about the only thing I haven't tried is brazilian waxing (supposedly more skin-friendly) and laser hair removal, but both are beyond my financial means...

[–] brookedSmile@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 18 hours ago

I appreciate the reply! Imma try the waxing after longer hair, even if it makes my skin hate me. I hope it helps, because i literally have to shave some areas twice a day if i wanna be hairless lol

[–] remilia@lemmy.cyberia9.org 9 points 21 hours ago

Honestly that's me as well anymore. I used to be more ambivalent about it.

[–] Sanctus@anarchist.nexus 22 points 21 hours ago

There goes my hero

Watch her as she goes

(Its hard out here for hairy mfuckers)

[–] redbrick@lemmy.world 12 points 22 hours ago (3 children)

Very interesting...can they reach down that far??? I mean that distance looks almost a full body length from this perspective.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

Bugs, in general, can they bite you anywhere?

Basically yes, depending on the clothes you're wearing, the position you're in, the climate/biome you live in.

Sand fleas, at a nudist beach.

A person sleeping nude in an area that's got lots of bugs, etc.

You've decided to go camping, where bugs exist.

...etc.

Let me just tell you that bed bugs fucking suck.

Like, figuratively and literally.

Ain't everybody got enough money to live in a decently maintained residence or building or... county or city.

[–] sem@piefed.blahaj.zone 3 points 10 hours ago

Ive watched these mosquitos. They land on top of the body hair, and then quickly climb down to the skin level, maybe taking a split second to do so.

Sometimes that's enough of a delay to detect and swat them.

[–] remilia@lemmy.cyberia9.org 7 points 22 hours ago (3 children)

Well... I've never had a bite on my scalp or my crotch, so I'm guessing they can't.

[–] sundray@lemmus.org 9 points 21 hours ago

never had a bite on my scalp or my crotch

Same. (Well... mosquito bites, at least.)

[–] Ziglin@lemmy.world 4 points 18 hours ago
[–] diffaldo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

What about bedbugs, can they reach there 🤔

[–] remilia@lemmy.cyberia9.org 3 points 15 hours ago

...probably? I think? Never experienced them.
