After recent claims that UHC is paying to let people die in nursing homes. Free Luigi...and give him unlimited ammunition for life.

Sixth Amendment

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

So speedy only applies in certain cases I guess?

I'd guess its a prosecution tactic to get a blameless mistrial and start this shit all over again when the case falls apart. They've gotten their asses handed to them just about every step of the way so far, and antijudicial momentum is running hard against all the stupid shit the Trump administration has pulled over the last year and a half. Prosecution wants to let all the hubbub die down over the next 6 months so they can try again next year when there isnt as much attention on how fucked our legal system is right now.

Why do trial with a chance of failure if they can keep him in the jail indefinitely? Sparrow in the hands...
