Beep, would you please edit the comic you shared to the one Ms. ArmoredThirteen did that has proper attribution?
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Limit of two posts per person per day.
- Bots aren't allowed.
- Banned users will have their posts removed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

- !memes@lemmy.world: memes (you don't say!)
You seem to have dropped both the comic and artist's names but all good I picked them back up for you:

And it looks like everything has been redrawn, look at the text and the guy's arm in the third panel... I suspect AI slopiting to remove the watermark and author's name.
OP already mentioned in another post that they "really don't like watermarks" so I wouldn't be surprised.
Thanks for reposting the original btw
Edit: okay I just checked their history and it goes waaaay beyond that... I'm blocking them. It's awful to think like this and not to support artists in a world where capitalism does everything it can to erase art from the surface of the earth.
I love how dude is like 'There should be a rule against ads'(AKA artist attribution lol) meanwhile dude completely ignores the rule of limiting a user to 2 posts a day.
Also in that post they said we should link to the source instead and then proceeds to not do that.
I never saw them say that. I saw them begrudgingly say that if the rule was enforced they would follow it. Which isn't a good position either.
At the end of the post.
Linking to the source should be the primary way of attribution.
That sounds more like "If I have to do attribution, I'd rather it be with a link instead of watermarks", based on the context of the post. Not that they want to attribute, just if they have to, do it in a way they prefer.
Oh, it's that individual
This is so weird because this is something that hats just quicker to do without AI. Like every freaking phone and pc has the tools to do this and it’s dirt simple.
Like I agree they shouldn’t at all and comics should get credited. And also I’m annoyed because this is dirt simple to do without slopping it up with AI.
Omg her hairstyle is completely different
And the white space in the faces, and the line art is all heavier with less contrast.
They used AI to do it how sad can you be.
Look at the difference in the arm on the man in the bottom panel and the bangs on the lady.
And no this isn't someone who innocently found an altered version, they do this deliberately: https://lemmus.org/post/21226925
Disgusting, shameful behavior.
I don’t understand why people crop comics. It takes more effort and it makes you an asshole. Why would anyone do that?
Ironically, I do not have the creators name in mine either. But to my defense it is a common template and I didn't edit it out myself at least.
A comic about Amancio Ortega
I want a 4th panel where he's talking around the water cooler with the kids about how well the date went.
He is a great man installing a work ethic into the youth.
Thier tiny fingers make it easier.
I work the children
This is grim and a lot of dirty politians want it back.
Disgusting.
There will always be people who are willing to give children a job.
Does anyone else wonder what those kids are making? I'll tell you what they're not making: Levi's jeans, because Levi's has a strict policy against child labor.
