Where we meme (joking in tone and detail, serious in sentiment) about General Sherman, the Civil War, and how the secesh traitors had it coming.

RULES

  1. No bigotry. The Union, or at least the part of the Union WE support, fought AGAINST that shite. We are anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, and in general anti-bigot here, even if not all the lads in Union blue uniforms were.

  2. No Confederate sympathizing. Anti-democratic racist slaver traitors don't deserve shit.

  3. Follow all Piefed.social rules

He got caught, arguably an error

To paraphrase a great captain, "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not weakness (or something wrong/error), that is life."

Against such apt quotation what more can be said?

The true party of hope and peace unquestioningly backs a warmongering, colonizing, child raping piece of shit. Everyone knows that.

surely Brown was a Republican, right?

I don't think Brown ever strongly associated himself with the then-new Republican Party of the time, though I might be wrong.

In any case, certainly John Brown was not a Democrat, as that was unambiguously the party of conservatism and slavery at the time.
