The fuck were they expecting? No one wants your stupid AI bullshit.
They try to cram AI into everything, so its easier to just block it everywhere possible as a response
I genuinely don't understand why they even added an AI? Do they even know their own users and community? Genuinely a baffling move on their part.

I have this pet theory that the reason tech companies have gone all in on LLMs is that they've given up on innovating in traditional interface (GUI design and suck) and see a natural language interface as the only way forward. Seeing what Frazee is saying in that thread makes that thought harder to dismiss.
The tech bro executive types are all high on their own farts and literally cannot imagine anyone not being as enthusiastic about AI as they are.
