I saw some info on a recent road trip where it would say a trip "uses 54%". Except that it was wildy pessimistic, by double digits, every time. Unless it adjusts based on your input, I would struggle to find this useful.

That's great. Per the recent Technology Connections video, I bet it won't automatically start battery preconditioning, so it would be great if the automakers added a button for that somewhere.
Love this functionality on my Polestar, glad to see it being ported from android automotive.
Edit: Actually, there's some functionality they talk about that I haven't seen yet but looks super useful:
Other preferences let you state your desired battery level upon arrival to have Google Maps add more charging stops.
Hopefully it comes to waze
