Do not believe anyone who says the US is planning on de-escalating when this is happening.

Hey England, You might as well paint a big target on yourself. You are not allowed to clutch your pearls when your infrastructure is targeted.

(Me, who is avoiding the news due to terrible anxiety): I see. So apprently we're at war with England now. These new planes sure can fly low to the ground: possibly to avoid radar. Am curious how fast the bombers would need to be flying in order to escape the explosions from bombs dropped from <50m up.

Still needs one crew per bomb ...

The only hotter way to die than this is if that bomb lands in your asshole.

  1. Glide bombs

  2. They are moving VERY fast

  3. The bombing run can involve a sharp climb to safe altitude with a return back to nap of the earth if that was an issue, the low flying part can be the rest of the time. This isn't too different from the way fighters and helicopters deploy rocket artillery in a momentary leap after following the terrain as closely as possible.

Example of B1 performing this kind of manuever.

B52s are not low level bombers and never will be.

Strap the bomb to an escape seat. You'll easily get 10 more meters that way.
