Is there a way to make app notifications louder while on a call? (alien.top)

Whenever I'm on a phone call on speaker phone, I can barely hear my app notifications, even with all of the volumes turned all the way up. Is there a way to manually adjust it so that apps' notifications are louder while on a phone call? I'm on the latest iOS and have an iPhone XR.
