Since iOS17 the tracks that we could "like", with a heart as a logo, have disappeared in favor of putting "the tracks as favorites" with a star in logo. This star was previously used instead of the point you see on the screen. As the star now squeezes to favor your tracks, to make the difference it is now a point instead of a star. In order to answer your question, this point is to show you the most listened to (popular) tracks on the album.
