I was reminded about having some boar brushes, so I took out one of my favorites today. The 1305 isn't too floppy and feels nice. Great brush!
The Koraat felt pretty good overall, but compared to the experience I've been having recently with my new-to-me Licht Werk straight razor, this didn't feel as sharp and closeness, though very good, isn't up to par. Seems like a good opportunity to try Chromium Oxide on this razor again.
I've been messing around with my home network which hosts the Shaving Data System (https://gitlab.com/walden_/shaving-data-system), so my apologies for the bit of downtime. Actually, the downtime is more related to my server running out of memory during semi-weekly backups, but I've been adjusting things to make sure it works in the future. It has worked for the past number of years, but adding that one last little virtual machine seems to have triggered some sort of RAM limit :-)
