Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

People think soldiers fear for their lives, and therefore only go to war for defending the things they care about. But that's not always the case.
Not all of them have families to get back to. A lot of them are just thugs. They just want to get to kill.

I'm sure we'll send more than a million once those first 50k sacrificial troops die. Looks like we're sending just ground troops, no tanks.
I'm sure they are sending film crews with the noble troops to record their demise for the fine American viewers back home. What do you bet trump and hegseth will want to make a tv show out of it. I'd bet real money they will.

Honestly kind of surprised it's not higher. So the normal number according to this article is about 40,000? Course I guess it makes sense logistically. It's cheaper probably to transport them quickly than to house and feed them permanently.

The increase is mostly due to naval assets and US Marines deployments. They can't deploy much more lest they want to expose their other positions.
More than a half of them may return home dead or injured. Or not even return at all. And for what reason? Because of their "imperator" decided to play in war.
Not sure how much you can get done with just 50,000. Invade that one island maybe? I wonder how many troops Israel is contributing to the effort? This is their war after all, there is nothing in it for the US.
Israel yesterday stated they would not be providing any ground troops. Probably too busy sodomizing "prisoners" and going on talk shows.
