If you watch it by itself, the only thing good is gonna be the music.
You need to either go to a midnight showing at a local theatre or get a copy that includes the extra "audience participation" parts. The movie is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to what makes it super special to a lot of people. Myself included.
it is one of those movie that require "turning it off" so to speak. you just need to let it do its thing
