This whole trade stinks, we have an offensive line that is completely trash, and we trade a premium pick for an expiring contract to a rebuilding team who is in the same boat as us.

This is purely a trade that management thinks will calm down the fanbase.

Can't wait to watch us draft another QB only to watch him and his confidence gets crushed by our turn style Oline.

If you don't know what you're doing maybe see how successful teams fresh outta a rebuild are succeeding

What incentive does Sweat have to stay? Trading a high value pick for a guy that is looking for a deal - when your team stinks... is Ryan Pace level stupid.

Bears have most cap space in the league, they'd be happy to slap 2 franchise/transition tags on him (depending on who else needs a tag... Such as JJ), and then let him go after he reaches his age 30 season or at the first sign of injury trouble

Trading a 2nd for a guy you immediately need to franchise, when he’s a very good player but not a superstar, is very very stupid.
