Not really relevant, but: it's kind of weird that the three main generals of the Battle of Waterloo (Napoleon, Wellington, and Blücher) all had a type of shoe/boot named after them. But only Napoleon and Wellington had a pastry named after them.

Blücher had a Frau named after him

He sure had a talent for warfare. He wasn't necessarily as much of a strategic genius as Napoleon (AFAIK Alexander's father or one of his underlings invented and implementend the system of warfare that Alexander was using, and the system itself was mostly fairly straightforward), but how many rulers were part of the vanguard of their forces with this much success?
