we ourselves have a box of eight inch diskettes on the shelf next to our desk. the references to wargames friends make are always fun hehe

I'm 98.6% sure there was nothing on that disk to start with and it's just s joke.
I've seen people do stupid stuff with floppy disks. The older ones which were actually floppy would often get stapled. It's partly why the newer ones aren't floppy. They're more durable and less likely to get stapled.
Though they're not immune from people doing stupid things that ruin the data on them like shown here.



Someone's going to have a very bad day if they need that disk.
